Identifying The Causes Of AnxietyAs we all know that a little bit of anxiety is important for us to survive in this competitive world. However, just as too much of anything is bad, similarly too much anxiety is also bad for our system. And this is why we must know the various causes of anxiety in detail, so that some of us who may be suffering from this debilitating disease can effectively fight their way out of it. There is no single reason that can be pinpointed as the cause of this disorder in the body. Some psychoanalysts believe that certain chemical imbalances in the brain could be the cause of this disorder. However, they are not sure as to whether these chemical imbalances are the causes or the effects of this disorder.
In other words, we can say that according to the recent developments in science and in general Molecular Biology, some of the scientists involved are busy finding out whether people are actually born with this disease, or not. If it gets proved beyond conflict that anxiety and depression disorders are actually inherited from the parents, then the treatment of this disease would take an entirely different turn. In fact, we could say that people born with such disposition could be given appropriate medical doses right after their birth, and the disease would be taken care off once and for all. However, as of now, the researchers believe that the causes of anxiety disorder cannot be linked to any single or isolated event, condition or situation in a person's life. Both physical as well as environmental causes could be the reasons for the severity of this disease. The better known psychoanalysts and doctors of our times believe that not one but both these causes come together to inflict this disorder on those suffering. They feel that it could actually be a vicious circle and a combination of both these anomalies that bring about its onslaught. According to popular hypothesis, if an individual has some past issues which have remained unresolved in his life, he could develop the habit of remaining depressed. Some individuals and specially those suffering from some diseases like asthma, etc. could also generate panic situations in order to save themselves from these traumatic events. Once they become over conscious of these situations their brains could be automatically predisposed to a perpetually hyper-active state of existence. This could result in excessive production of certain chemicals in the brain, which could ultimately lead to this disorder. Therefore, we can conclude that the real causes of anxiety are many, and are both physical and environmental. In order to save oneself from the onslaught of this constricting disease one would require a lot more than medicine alone. |
